Continuous Wicking
Candle making is great fun. But threading that wick through the hole is NOT! Call me slow - I had heard about this some time back but not tried it until recently.
When you wick a candle, leave a metre or 2 hanging out the hole instead of trimming it.
Now pour your candle as usual, and wait for it to cool completely.
As the candle is removed from the mould just watch the wick move through, getting ready for another one without the threading! it's such a bonus and makes the job so much faster and enjoyable. Give it a go!
